Icy Conditions

These last few days have been very different and hectic due to weather conditions. There have been many power and wifi outages, and school has been cancelled for the foreseeable future. This has caused a great disturbance in my ISM work schedule. I am having to postpone scheduling meetings and am not able to spend as much time on my original work due to the occasional wifi outage. On the other hand, it has given me more time to catch up on “When Breath Becomes Air” which I have nearly finished.

However, once things calm down, I plan on getting back on track and catching up on these few days of missed work. My next step in ISM is to ensure a mentorship, most likely with Dr. Dussor. For this, I need to schedule our third meeting and ask if he is willing to be a mentor. I look forward to working with Dr. Dussor as I have already learned so much from him in just 2 meetings. Before this meeting, I plan on working on my original work so that I can get Dr. Dussor’s advice and guidance on it. This means updating my original work proposal and noting down any questions I have pertaining to it.
